Porter Ford to receive #47 of only 50 Cobra Jets to touch U.S. soil!

Porter Ford is excited to be receiving number 47 of only 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs produced for the U.S. market.

Porter Ford, your leading Ford dealer, is excited to be receiving number 47 of 50 Cobra Jet Mustangs to touch U.S. soil. Ford recently unveiled the new Mustang to join the Ford Racing stable - the FR500CJ Cobra Jet. The 2009 model was hugely popular both with customers and on the track; Ford Racing sold the entire inventory of fifty cars in less than two weeks. This Mustang is not a regular city car and is targeted at racing aficionados only. Since only 50 cars will hit U.S. soil, each car is numbered to mark its exclusivity for posterity, and Porter Ford is the lucky Ford dealer in Newark, DE to be getting #47.

Ford Racing will be getting the 2010 Cobra Jet to dealerships soon. The base price is expected to be less than $75,000. Like the 2009 model, the 2010 Cobra Jet will be modified with all Ford Racing parts including the supercharged 5.4-liter V8 that is now rated at 425 horsepower, a standard 6-speed manual transmission and an option to upgrade to 5-speed Liberty manual transmission or an automatic transmission will be available.
