Overview

For 2011, the F-Series Super Duty lineup (F-250, F-350 and F-450) continues as the benchmark in the heavy-duty pickup segment. The 2011 Ford F-250 offers an unmatched variety of cab styles and tow/payload capacities. This means Super Duty customers can now configure exactly the truck they need; by grouping that variety into a handful of full-featured packages.

Power and performance

The Ford Super Duty F-250 comes with both all-new diesel and gasoline engines (6.2L V8 gasoline and 6.7 L Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel engines) mated to a new TorqShift six-speed transmission. The new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbocharged diesel engine enables best-in-class towing, payload and fuel economy.

Body and styling

The Super Duty F-250, a takeoff of the famous F-Series, which has been America's bestselling truck for three decades, occupies a pride of place among Ford's vehicles. It has been Ford's highest selling vehicle for more than two decades. All four F-250 Super Duty trim levels - XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch in Crew, Regular and Super Cab versions - come with a host of standard features including air conditioning, SecuriLock and power-heated trailer tow mirrors to privacy glass, an integrated trailer brake controller and remote keyless entry. The standard and available Ford F-Series Super Duty technology features include Ford Work Solutions, auxiliary audio input jack, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, SYNC with Traffic, Directions and Information, navigation system with touch-screen display, reverse Vehicle Aid Sensor, rear view camera, Power Code Remote Start System, Power Scope Trailer Tow Mirrors and Integrated Trailer Brake Controller.

The 2011 Ford Super Duty F-250 is equipped with a number of safety features including airbags - front seat front with passenger side deactivation switch (Regular Cab and Super Cab only), SOS Post Crash Alert System, child tethers (Regular Cab, front passenger and all rear seating positions) and SecuriLock Anti-Theft Ignition.
